It is specified in the Zonta International Bylaws that the District Board has general supervision over clubs and the administration of the district. The Board decides upon matters requiring action between meetings of the district conference. The Board may neither act in conflict with the Zonta International Bylaws nor the District Rules of Procedure and is bound by actions taken by the conference.
The District Board meets twice yearly and proposes goals and long range plans for the district. The Board plans the district conference which is held biannually. The Board recommends the district budget for the next biennium.
